Graduated from Indiana State Teachers College with a B.A. in Education in 1958, and completed his M.A. degree in 1960. Married on April 221, 1955, and his wife preceded him in death by four days. He served as a high school teacher, coach and administrator at several schools in Illinois and Indiana, as well as two years in American Samoa, finishing his career at Decatur Central Junior HS. Willed his body to IU School of Medicine. Also preceded in death by his brother, Jack Youngen; step-sister, Deborah Youngen; grandson, Mathew Youngen; and son-in-law, Joseph Martin. |
