Had 9 children: (Lawrence, Lula, Mary, Sarah and Catherine; 4 others). Adaline died Dec. 31, 1842 in Brownstown, Ind. Mr. Worth married Harriet Alsie (Aylsie?) Glasscock on July 6, 1843, and they had nine children together. (Alexander and Alfred, who both died in Sept. 1853; William Carvosso, who died in 1851; Deborah E.; Alice C.; Fannie and Edward; Harriet Isabella, who died in 1849; one other child.) Built large 2-story house on Carter Street in Mooresville. Father of a total of 21 children. Two of his children are buried in this cemetery, as is his mother, Mary. Father Barzillai died in Dutchess Co., N.Y. Wife Harriet and one son, Edward, are buried in the Mooresville Cemetery. Daughter Mary (with first wife) is buried in White Lick Cemetery. |
