Other	Age 78 years, 8 months, and 4 days. "Died at his residence near Monrovia. He was born in 1804 in North Carolina. In 1808, his father moved to Tennessee, near Knoxville. In 1809, his father was thrown from his horse and died, leaving a wife and 6 children. The family then moved back to North Carolina. On Sept. 6, 1827, he married Margaret Amack, who survives him. She is now 88 years old. He was the father of 7 children, 5 of which are still living."
