Her brothers William, Job, and John were highly esteemed citizens of [Morgan] County. They have passed on before her...She was born the 7th day of June 1790 in Pennsylvania; she removed with her parents to this state in 1817. She and Joel Wilson were united in matrimony in 1821. She was the mother of 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters. One daughter, the wife of W.R. Harrison, died some 17 or 18 years ago. The other daughter is Mrs. John Nutter, and her two sons, Thomas and Frank, now reside in Iowa. She has lived in the vicinity of Martinsville since 1828 and became a widow in 1846." |
