Father of 3 children, one of whom, John, preceded him in death. Married for over 60 years. Phoebe died Dec. 13, 1895. On Oct. 9, 1897, he married Nannie Elliott. (At that time, he was over 84 and she was 60.) Parents: William and Rachel Moon Weesner. He was the oldest of their 12 children. "Joshua Weesner of near Gasburg and Miss Nannie Elliott were quietly married last week at Paoli, Orange County, Indiana. He is a pioneer of Morgan County and a well to do farmer; before the county took over the Monrovia to Mooresville Gravel Road, he owned most of the stock."
