Other	Age 64 years, 11 months, and 21 days. "John K. Vincent died at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Samuel Tucker, last Friday. He was a citizen of Martinsville. He was born near Brookville, Franklin Co., Ind. in 1820. In 1832 or 1833, his widowed mother, Nancy Vincent, who still survives at the age of 88, removed to this town with her family, which consisted of 4 sons and a daughter, of which John was the eldest. Sons Isaac S. and Samuel D. went to California in the winter of '49. Isaac S. died soon after arriving there. Samuel D. still resides there, and is a confirmed invalid. The other son, J.K., is a well known practicing physician at Waverly. The only sister, Sarah, married Mr. Samuel Tucker." [Cemetery index gives John's middle initial as J.]
