Other	From Sodom, Baker Township -- Uncle John Vandeventer was born in Shelby County, Kentucky, December 1825; came to Monroe County, near Bloomington, with his parents when a very small child. He later moved to Iowa, but returned to Indiana because of his wife's health problems. She later died and he died on the 19th. He was 59 years old...He died with cancer of the stomach.
