Other | From Brooklyn -- Uncle Abe Stipp died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Morgan, Wednesday. He and his wife were invalids. His son Kelly died last October. Abe Stipp was 86 years old. "Abraham Stipp, son of John and Eve Stipp, was born in Champaign County, Ohio, 27 December 1815. At age 3, he and his parents moved to Morgan County. In November 1843, he married Nancy Strader, and they had 4 children: Kelly, Eliza, Sarah, and Martha E." "Abraham Stipp is probably the oldest early settler in Clay township, and among the last survivors of those who first came to this neighborhood. His son, Kelly Stipp, who owns the Michael Stipp farm, is the only descendant of the old settlers who owns a foot of land belonging to their ancestors..." (Source: Noah J.
