Other	Age 73. "Last Monday morning Conductor Berges train, going East, ran over and killed William Stiles on the trestle work, just this side of the river. Mr. Stiles was very old, feeble, and subject to fits and fainting. He was lying on the tracks." He was born in Augusta, Georgia on the 23rd of January 1798. Came to Morgan County in 1829 or 1830 and "has resided in Jefferson Township for the last 15 or 20 years."
