Other	One of the pioneers of the county, and the oldest citizen of Brown Township, died Wednesday, age 85. Born in Randolph Co., N.C.; son of Peter and Mary Staley. Married first wife in Randolph Co. on April 21, 1821. Married second wife in Guilford Co., N.C. on June 22, 1831; they had 4 children: Tempa, Elizabeth, Margaret, and Daniel Monroe Staley. Buried in Wilson family plot, Mooresville Cemetery.
