| Other | The oldest man in Morgan County...died last Saturday at the residence of his daughter Mrs.Thomas (Artha) Burke. He was born in London, England in 1803; attended school in Paris. Came to America in 1823. He made 14 trips across the Atlantic Ocean...and speaks 3 languages. Father of 8 children: 4 sons and 4 daughters. Ran a meat market in downtown Mooresville, next door to Charles Cooks feed shop. "Uncle Henry" died at the age of 90.
