Other	Age 55 years, 1 month, and 6 days. "Charles Saltcorn, proprietor of the Saltcorn House, Morgantown, Indiana, died last Tuesday. He was a very well known German citizen." He "was born in N---rt House, a small town in Prussia...and resided there until 1856, when he came to the U.S.A., coming directly to Indianapolis and then to Brown County, where in 1859 he was married to Mrs. Phoebe Wershing. From this union, one child was born, Smith Saltcorn. Mr. Saltcorn came to Morgantown about 20 years ago, working as a shoemaker and barber. He died at his home in this place."
