Other Son of Mark Joseph Ryan and Ann (Harrower) Ryan, born in Pender, Nebraska. Married on September 2., 1961, in Chicago; wife preceded him in death on October 23, 2019. Was a brother at New Melleray Abbey, a Trappist monastery in Dubuque, Iowa, for 6 years. Graduate of the U. of Colorado, and received Master of Education from Loyola, U., Chicago. Served in US Army during the Korean War. Taught history at Lincoln Hall Middle School, Lincolnwood, Illinois, for fifteen years, and later was an insurance sales associate for Prudential for 22 years. Preceded in death by his parents; wife Deloris; two brothers, Richard Ryan, Mark Ryan; and one sister, Janice King.
