| Other | Andrew West Rogers died this morning at his home in Martinsville. He was born near Greencastle in 1837, and was the first of 11 children of John and Lucy Rogers, with 9 surviving. He was a Civil War veteran. In 1867, he married Sallie Ann Hale, and they had 4 children. "The remains of Andrew West Rogers passed through the city, over the Vandalia R.R., enroute to Gosport. The Masons will be in charge of his funeral." |
