Sheriff's Dept as a jail officer, and in 1986 became a road deputy. In 1987 he graduated from the ILEA. Promoted to Captain in 2003 and was also head of the reserve deputy division. Retired in 2011, and worked at ILEA, eventually running the EVO program. He was also a security officer at St. Francis Hospital in Mooresville for 30 years, Morgan County Coroner for eight years, and served in many other capacities during his lifetime. Preceded in death by his father, Harold. |
