He was the brother of Joe C. Rhea and James Rhea of Adams Township. Civil War veteran: Co. D, 70th Ind. Vol. Inf. Born in Washington Co., Va.; son of George G. and Dorcas (Lowrey) Rhea. Father of 2 daughters. Attorney; Justice of the Peace in Adams Township 1878-1882. Dry goods merchant.
