| Other | Daughter of Andy Willis and Charlotte "Lottie" Elmira Crews, the eighth of nine children, and she grew up at her parents' farm on Bethel Lane. She began working at RCA before the war and retired from there in 1978. Married in December 1945 just weeks before Wayne left for basic training. They were married 55 years before his death in 1997, and lived in Unionville and Martinsville. After Wayne's death she returned to Bloomington. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her eight siblings, and one sonm, Michael, who died in infancy. |
