She retired from AM General Corporation in Indianapolis in May 1986, after 30 years of service. Married Alvin G. Petersen of Tilden, Nebraska, on August 8, 1987. They split time between the two homes. Mr. Petersen passed away in 2015 after 28 years of marriage to Mary Jean Preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; stepsons George and Tim Petersen; and stepdaughter, Merna Vandeveer. |
