Other	Nathan Nichols (sic), of near Hall, age 84, died yesterday from a fall. He was one of the pioneers of this locality. "Age 84 years, 8 months, and 24 days. Born in Washington Co., Kentucky. With his parents, he came to Orange County, Indiana in 1815, and he settled near Mooresville in 1830. He 1st married Sarah Kearby, 23 October 1828, and to them were born 7 children: 3 sons and 4 daughters. His first wife died 24 May 1843. He then married Mrs. Lena Hancock, 1 November 1853, and they had 5 children: 1 son and 4 daughters." [Tombstone says age at death was 84 years, 9 months and 23 days.] His first wife is buried in Bethesda Cemetery; second wife is buried at Mt. Zion, next to Nathan.
