(One son and 4 daughters, plus their mother, have died.) Elizabeth died in 1856. Married second wife on March 1, 1858; they had 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters, all still living. [Obituary says he was buried at Centennary cemetery; Brooklyn cemetery index lists him as buried there, next to Margaret.] "John McDaniel, of Clay Township and a pioneer of Morgan County, died at his home in Brooklyn Thursday. He was the father of Ira McDaniel of Brooklyn and C.W. McDaniel of Franklin." [May also have been married to an Alsey Bray, on April 14, 1826.] |
