She was the daughter of Isaac [Daniel] Huffman, one of the first settlers in this part of the county, and he moved West, where he died. She was buried at the Frye graveyard on the Morgan edge of Monroe County, 3 miles East of the Martin residence." Married on May 23, 1839 in Morgan Co., Ind. Mother of: Sarah, Nancy, Lewis, F.E., Isaac and William.
