Ludlow in 1835 and came to Indiana the same year; settled on Mudd Creek until 1842, when they moved to near Hall. They had 8 children, 3 sons and 5 daughters: Mildred Ann, George W., Cassandra, William A., Sarah F., Levi N., Vermilla J., and Rebecca A. Three of her daughters have died, as well as her husband, who died a year ago last March. For the last 3 years, she has lived with her daughter Vermilla."
