She was a cashier for Kroger and A&P for many years, as well as a nurse's aide at a sanitarium in Richmond, Indiana. She also worked at Bloomington Hospital and Morgan County Hospital. Member of Highland Creek Baptist Church since 1971, a Sunday school teacher there for over 25 years. Preceded in death by husband Clifford, whom she married on February 27, 1940; he passed away on August 21, 2009. Also preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald R. Lindsey; siblings, James Fishel, Virden Fishel, Flossie Rogers and Erma Sue Abel; and one step great great grandchild. |
