Other | Mrs. Frank (Lucy) Kriner died Tuesday after being sick for only 9 days. Her infant child lived only a couple of hours after birth. She was 28 years old, and she married Frank Kriner 8 years ago. Her father, George Proctor, died some 9 years ago. She was born in Missouri; "she later lived here a time before moving west, then returned to Morgan County, where her mother died. She had returned here to take care of her father and brothers. Her father died in 1894. The following spring she married Frank Kriner, son of B.F. Kriner of this city. They lived in Johnson County for a while before moving to Brooklyn and then to Martinsville. Their infant child died Sunday, August 5th, and the baby's mother died about a week later." |
