Other	James C. Kennedy, age 70, died Wednesday. He was born at Lamb's Bottom, Morgan County, 25 February 1845. [Tombstone says 1835.] He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luke Kennedy. He was married twice, first to Ellen Shoemaker, who died about 20 years ago. About 16 years ago, he married Hannah Secrest. [Married on Oct. 6, 1883 in Morgan Co., Ind.] He and his first wife had 2 sons, Paris and O.A. Kennedy, who survive him. He is also survived by 3 brothers and a sister. He was a Civil War veteran. He gave up his farm in Adams Township and moved to Martinsville, but this did not agree with him, so he moved back to the farm.
