She continued her education at Phillips U. in Enid, Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of Education in 1962, and with a master's degree in special education from Hunter College in New York City in 1964. After teaching for one year in Indianapolis she moved to New York City and taught there for 35 years, retiring in 2000. Preceded in death by both of her parents. |
