Veteran of that war: was promoted to rank of Captain and placed over the 2nd Brigade, 2nd Div., 3rd Army Corps, Army of the Potomac, then was transferred to Gen. George Thomas command at Nashville. Member for 35 years of the M.E. Church, 25 years an Odd Fellow and 40 years a Mason. Has lived in Wabash since 1866. Died age 64 years, 1 month, and 1 day. |
