| Other | Age 8. Killed while riding his new bicycle towards the bucket factory (Davis Cooperage Company) which his father, James W. Hussey, managed and later owned. He was struck by a furniture moving truck at the Big Four railroad tracks. He was taken to the office of Dr. H.C. Robinson, where he died soon afterwards. After his death, his father began a drive for a hospital; when the Morgan County Hospital was completed in 1924, a plaque was placed in the building, in memory of little Jack Hussey. |
