[From the Martinsville Republican for Feb. 28, 1878: "Mr. Thomas Hunt is very low with typhoid pneumonia. He is 73 years old, is a native of Ohio and a citizen of Morgan County since 1861. His recovery is almost impossible."] Born in Grayson Co., Virginia; son of Jacob and Lydia Green Hunt. Married on March 29, 1827 in Clinton Co., Ohio. Father of 8 children: Lydia, William, Asa, Reuben, Mary Jane, Jabez, James, and Martha.
