Pappy and Sarah moved to Morgan County in 1971. He was a truck driver for Yellow Freight for many years, retiring in 1987. After retirement he worked as custodian and maintenance for Mooresville School System, then worked as a parts delivery man for Speedway Auto Parts, being forced to retire at the age of 85. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sarah; sons, Paul Kingsbury, Ron Kingsbury; daughter, Susan K. Brooks; brothers, Louis Hendren, Allen Hendren, Larry Hendren; a granddaughter, Stephanie Frye; great grandchildren, Jennifer Kingsbury and Logan Kingsbury. |
