Lived 2 years in Washington County, then 2 in Lawrence County, after which the family moved to the White Lick region, being the 6th family to settle in the new county of Morgan. Educated in the Baptist faith; after marriage, became a member of the M.E. church. Mother of 8 children, only 2 of whom survive her. Ill since 1860, and finally blind from cancer. Died in Martinsville. |
