Came to Indiana with her parents in 1835, at the age of 12. Married Eli Greeson in 1840; he died Aug. 30, 1863, and she raised 8 children, 5 girls and 3 boys. All of her children survive except Alonzo, who died at Resaca, Georgia in the Civil War, May 27, 1864. |
