| Other | From the 'Danville Advertiser': Three young girls, all about 16 years old, were suffocated by gases from a charcoal burner. They had taken the burner to their room when they got ready to go to bed. The girls were: Christiana Fleece, daughter of Charles Fleece of North Salem; Nancy Hunt, daughter of Johnson Hunt, who lived near Salem; and Catherine Ashby of Montgomery County. |
