Graduate of Martinsville HS in 1956, playing football there all four years, and was the first player from there to receive a football scholarship to Purdue U. Graduated with his Master's degree in 1967, and coached at several high schools, ending at Decatur Central HS, where the stadium is named in his honor. Member of Indiana Football Hall of Fame , and during his teaching career he earned three National Science Scholarships. Preceded in death by both of his parents; one sister, Debra Fair; and one brother, Dave Fair. |
