Other | Oscar J. Egbert died at his home in Norfolk, Nebraska last Saturday. The body was brought to this city for internment and arrived yesterday. Mr. Egbert was a native of this city, and resided here until 1882, when he went to Norfolk. He was 29 years old, and the only son of a widowed mother, his father having died when he was quite young. Died of typhoid fever. He was in the mercantile business in Martinsville. With his health failing, he went to Norfolk in February 1882, where he went into the banking business with C.B. Burrows. |
