Other	Thomas Dougherty died, age 82. He was an old citizen of [Morgan] County, and at one time quite wealthy. In 1865, he was accused of murdering a person by the name of Carter but eventually was acquitted. His court cases cost him dearly. "He was one of the pioneers of this township."
