Other | Age 85. Born in Ohio, son of Peter and Emily (Patton) Dill. Married Delilah Lang on Oct. 21, 1852; their children: one son, John, and 2 daughters, Mary and Martha. Wife and all three children preceded him in death. Family resided in Logansport, Ind. Mr. Dill came to Mooresville, Ind. in late 1860. Married Mary Leathers on June 15, 1873. Their children: 2 sons, Howard, and another, Peter, who died in infancy, and one daughter, Minta. Second wife died in 1908. Mr. Dill lived with son Howard on Brooklyn Road. He was a well-known and respected farmer. Died by hanging himself in the barn. He was found by John Wilson and Lincoln Wagaman. Funeral at Christian Church. |
