| Other | L.P. DeTurk died Friday at his home east of town. He was the son of Isaac DeTurk...He was 59 years old. He was a firm believer in spiritualism. He was buried from his home, with Masonic honors. About 1859, he married Julia Ingalls, who died after Eugene's birth. Afterwards, he married Mary Ingalls, a half sister of his first wife, but they were divorced. Later, he married Mary F. Cox, who only lived a few months after their marriage. Then on 20 May 1875, he married Mary E. Cramer, and from this union, Lydia, Mabel and Harry were born. |
