| Other | Age 17. Killed in a terrible accident when the car in which she was riding collided with a T.H.I. & E. interurban train near Centerton, Sunday afternoon. Also killed were: Mr. and Mrs. William D. Brown and Miss Bonnie Bailey, age 18. The Browns' son, Edda Gerald, age 19, was driving the car. The body of Miss Cure was caught beneath the train and dragged for some distance. She was a beautiful and popular young woman, a skilled pianist, and the organist for the Christian Church Sunday school. The young women had a double funeral. |
