Mr. and Mrs. Crawford ran a successful hotel business together (the McCracken Hotel) for 22 years, succeeding her parents who had been in the business continuously for eight years. Active member of M.E. Church in Martinsville; became affiliated with Friends Church on returning to Mooresville to live. Died in Indianapolis. Funeral at residence. |
