Other Age 84. Born in Bedford, Trimble Co., Kentucky. Parents: Willis G. Conduitt and Matilda Moreland. Moved to Mooresville at age 8. Worked as a clerk in Samuel Moore's general store; later purchased the business. Represented Morgan County in both the House and the Senate. Father of nine children. Had a farm, "Bainbridge Hall", one mile east of Mooresville on what is now Highway 67. Moved to Indianapolis in 1864. He died there at his home, 324 North Delaware Street.
