Married Adelia J. Harris, daughter of Dr. John Harris of Wayne Co., on November 13, 1846, in Randolph Co., Ind. They had 7 children, six of whom are still living. (Mrs. H.E. Branch, his 2nd daughter, died at Bristol, Tennessee about 3 years ago.) Their mother died March 28, 1881. On Dec. 18, 1883, he married Rebecca Day. Civil War veteran: Co. B, 5th Indiana Cavalry. Moved to Mooresville in 1864. |
