Other	Age 83. "Daniel Branham is lying at home very sick. There is little hope of his recovery." "Daniel Branham was born in Scott County, Kentucky and died October 10th, aged 83 years, 9 months and 25 days. The family moved to the Indiana Territory in 1815, settling near Madison in Jefferson County, and removed to Bartholomew County in 1820. Frm here, Daniel moved back to Covington, Kentucky, where he completed his chosen trade -- that of blacksmith. At age 23, he returned to Vernon, Jennings County, and married Miss Eliza Sweet. From here they moved to a farm in Bartholomew County, where they were for about 32 years. They then moved back to Vernon, and were there about 4 years before moving to Martinsville in 1869. His wife's death occurred some 8 years ago. To them were born 2 sons and 3 daughters; 2 of the daughters are dead."
