| Other | Isaac Baker died this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jessie Pearson, where he has lived since the death of his wife on 6 May 1903. He was nearly 77 years old. He was born in Wildcat, Kentucky; moved to Indiana with his parents [James H. and Nancy Kemper Baker] when quite young. In 1852, he married Cinderella Rogers, and to them were born 9 children. He was a Civil War veteran. He first lived in the vicinity of Paragon, then moved to Gosport, and 16 years ago, he moved [to Martinsville.] |
