| Other | Born in Salem, Ind., three weeks after the death of his father. Parents: Harvey S. and Frances M. Aston. When he was three years old, his mother married Joseph H. Draper, by whom she had 4 children -- one of whom, Alice Harris, resides in Mooresville. Came to Mooresville in 1866 with family. Married Eliza E. Chandler on Sept. 8, 1870. Member of M.E. church, where funeral took place. Died of scrofulous consumption, in his 28th year. |
