Howren, which took place the 16th of May 1833, he and his family moved to West Tennessee for about 8 years and then returned to North Carolina. In November 1869, he moved to Morgan County. In August of 1870, he settled 1/2 mile north of Mooresville and has continued to live there until his death." Father of: Elisabeth A., Malinda, Jesse, John, William, and Charles M. Ozment.
