Other	Age 103. Died at her home in Monrovia. Born in London on Oct. 25, 1789; daughter of William and Ann Wickman Marvin. When she was 3 years old, she and her parents came to America and afterwards lived in Philadelphia and Baltimore. "She had a romance in early life that has ever kept her single, in devotion to her betrothed." In 1818, she was engaged to marry Nicholas Hayes, and they were to marry on October 9, but he died on October 4. She lived with her brother Clare and his family for many years. She was buried in Monrovia.
