Married on Sepember 4, 1954. Band director in Pendleton Schools for 6 years, and for 32 years in Mooresville Consolidated Schools as band director, assistant principal, and jr. high principal. Lived in Pendleton and Mooresville, Indiana, and Lakeland, Florida. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Patchett; sisters, Wilma Gene Allyn, Elanor Burge and Nadine Rinkenberger; and niece, Cheryl Greeson Apperson.
