Other	Age 70. "Philip Coons died Thursday. He was born in Geauga County, Ohio and moved to Indiana in 1851. He married Mary Cain in 1854 in Brown County, Indiana. He was a Civil War veteran [Co. E, 22 Ind.]. His wife and daughter, Mrs. Thomas Moore, were at his bedside at the time of death. He and his wife lived in this city about 18-19 years...The funeral of Philip Coons took place Sunday. He had previously been a sexton at the Hilldale Cemetery."
