John W. and Thomas Minton of this city are her brothers, and her sisters are: Mrs. Mary Nosley of Monroe County; Mrs. Sarah J.A. Albertson of Wilbur; and Mrs. Mariah Portis of Monroe Township." "Born in Knox County, Tennessee, 6 November 1835, and died at her home near Wilbur, 4 November 1895. At the age of 14, she and her parents moved to Morgan County and settled at Hyndsdale. In 1856, she and her parents [Ebenezer and Dorcas Baldwin Minton] moved to Wilbur. She married George W. Wilhite in 1853 and they had 10 children; 6 survive, 4 sons and 2 daughters. The 4 others died in infancy." Married in Morgan Co., Ind. on Aug. 17, 1854, the same day her sister Elizabeth married Jesse Wilhite.
